Choosing your lamp
Namah pairs natural Himalayan salt crystal with carved and hand-finished forms made for contemporary Indian homes. Every design produces a slightly different pattern of amber light, but all are intended for calm, low-level illumination. Choose by the atmosphere you want to create, the surface available in your room, and whether the lamp is for your own ritual or a memorable gift.
Select a softly diffused design when you want a bedside companion or a steady focal point for yoga, breathwork and evening reading. Warm amber light feels gentler after sunset than bright overhead lighting. Place the lamp on a stable, dry surface and use it as an atmosphere layer rather than the room’s only source of functional light.
Sculptural patterns such as jharokas, sacred motifs and organic crystal forms work well where the lamp can be seen from several angles. They add character to consoles, shelves and welcome areas even when switched off. Natural salt varies in shade, mineral markings and edge shape, so no two Namah lamps are identical. Each order is inspected, carefully packed and shipped free across India. Keep your lamp indoors, away from water and persistent damp. Regular warmth from the bulb helps the crystal stay dry; a quick wipe with a soft dry cloth is usually all the maintenance it needs.
